Waterfront

For information on docks and slips on the Waterfront, click here.

If you want to find the best coastal communities, ask a boater. Boaters know the safest, most scenic harbors where the services they need are close by. They know where to find good food, shopping, and lodging. They know where the fishing is good and the people are friendly. Boaters know Belhaven, Bath, and Pantego. But you don’t have to be a boater to enjoy the area’s quintessential southern river vibe. You can drive here, too. While in Belhaven you can enjoy a picnic lunch by the water at the Boyette Pavilion on Water Street and enjoy the boat traffic or just the peace and quiet. It’s also a wonderful place to view our amazing sunsets. The Town Dock offers free dockage for up to 4 hours during the day so you can come into town to shop and have lunch or you can stay overnight at a reasonable rate. Electricity and water are available. If you have children, there is a nice park at the end of Main Street with playground access and a small beach area. Bath has a free town dock and several good restaurants within walking distance. Bonner Point, at the end of Main Street, offers beautiful views of Bath Creek.
