Wine, Dine and Design—March (cancelled due to Covid Restrictions)
The event is sponsored by The Wilkinson Community Event Center. Hostesses purchase tables, create themes or designs, decorate and set the tables and invite their friends to join them for the fun event. The morning begins with a wine social with table viewing and voting. A wonderful lunch is served and guests are treated to an afternoon of entertainment, dessert, and bidding on the wonderful items in the Silent Auction. Check us out on Facebook!

Intracoastal Waterway Celebration
This signature event is held yearly on Labor Day weekend to celebrate the opening of the final link of the Atlantic Intracoastal Waterway, which took place in 1928. The feature event, sponsored by the North Carolina Pork Association, is the Belhaven Breakwater BBQ Competition. Some of states best competitors will be hoping to walk away with bragging rights. BBQ can be purchased by the public. You won’t leave hungry! Other events include the 1920’s fashion show, vendors, antique cars and boats.
Held the second Saturday in December, the Town of Belhaven comes alive with Christmas. There is a kid’s village where children can sit on Santa’s lap, write letters to Santa and make Christmas crafts. In addition, there is a kids store where children can purchase $1.00 gifts for their parents. The parade is always fun. The day finishes with the Candlelight Tour of Homes.
